School-Wide Parent Involvement Policy

Crowell Elementary is Schoolwide Title 1 as defined by State and Federal guidelines.  Being such, we are required to develop in conjunction with our school community a written Title 1 Parent Involvement Policy.  Input from parents, School Site Council and English Language Advisory Council will be collected annually to assist in the process.  Distribution of the policy will occur by the following methods:  1) placed in the Crowell Student Handbook; 2) sent home with students; 3) presented at both SSC and ELAC meetings; and 4) a copy maintained in the front office.  The Crowell Parent Involvement Policy describes the means for carrying out the following Title 1 Parent Involvement requirements.
